I am a huge Disney fan - obviously - if you've been on the blog at all this last week. I was so excited to get to have even my nails reflect my passion for all things Disney! Jamberry has an amazing collection of Disney nail wraps to choose from - you should see the new ones that just came out! They are so cute! New to the Jamberry world? Don't worry! I was too - this is my first experience with Jamberry and I love it!

We had such an amazing trip to Disney World and our last day was bittersweet. I always hate saying goodbye to the happiest place on earth. The boys were in high spirits our last day and we managed to ride all of their favorite rides. We even got to see the fireworks and the parade. We stayed till the park was almost closed - which is pretty impressive with all 4 kiddos. The youngest two fell asleep before we left though. Can't wait till the next tim we get to go!

Our trip is coming to a close - this was the day before our last day. The kids voted for Epcot and we rejoiced because this meant we could have another go at the Food & Wine Festival! Yay for wine & beer at the theme parks. First thing of course we had to do some rides - test track, nemo, and it's not a trip to Epcot without a ride through time in the giant silver ball.

This is the day that hurricane Matthew officially arrived in Orlando and unfortunately that meant we were basically on lockdown. The whole county was under curfew until 7 am the next morning and they even had Disney World closed. Such a bummer. So we are trapped in a hotel room with 4 kids. Living the dream. Lucky for us they had a few activities going on at the hotel to help them use their limitless energy in good ways. After the rain finally let up I convinced the hubby to help me get a few pics of my Disney look for the day....sadly not actually in the theme park but I was so there in spirit.

I can't express how much I love this jacket! It's one of the very few DIY's I'm actually proud of. They usually end up half completed and sad stuffed in the back of my closet or simply tossed into my garbage can. This one is actually really simple to do and you can create your own embellished jean jacket in a few hours. It only took me 3 project runway episodes. The hardest part is finding the items to embellish your jacket with - don't worry - I have done this part for you. Details below.

Magic Kingdom here we come! Always my favorite park because it makes me feel like a kid again. I love seeing the excitement in my kids eyes as we walk in the gates. We took the ferry boat over this afternoon. We waited for their dad to finish up at his conference so we got a bit of a late start but at least we all got to come over together!

Day 4 at Disney World and today we ventured into Epcot. The park was extremely crowded - probably due to the Food and Wine Festival. They were even filming an episode of The Chew while we were there. I barely captured any images this day for so many reasons but the main ones being that I was there on my own with the boys for the majority of the time and the other that it rained - SO MUCH - like almost the whole day. The theme of the day for me was The Little Mermaid (possibly my favorite Disney movie ever).  This colorful glittery tank from Glitter Ever After was perfect for my mermaid day! The bright colors popped gorgeously against the black muscle tank. I paired it with black skinny distressed jeans and my black leather superga sneakers. So sorry not to give you a full length picture - my photographer (my 11 year old son) was much more concerned with getting on rides than he was with supplying me with an abundance of photo options. Can't say I blame him!

Day 3 at Disney we headed to Hollywood Studios. This was my second day on my own and it was definitely more challenging than the first day alone. The weather was not my friend. Lucky for me hubby was able to catch up with us around dinner time that evening - so I only had to do the first 7 hours!! It is totally worth it and totally exhausting. This fun top from Whosits and Whatsits was so fitting for my attitude - well at least my attitude at the beginning of the day!

Day 2 at Disney we headed out to Animal Kingdom. This was my first day trying to do Disney on my own with the boys. Hubby had to start attending the convention - which was our my excuse for this trip to begin with. I mean if he has to be in Orlando and his company is already paying for the hotel - isn't it meant to be that we get to go to Disney World?!? I certainly think so!

So we made it to Disney World last week and as I write this we are currently making the long drive back to our home. The trip was both amazing and exhausting. It even contained a surprise called hurricane Matthew.  I set out with the intentions of a fun week filled with Disney fashion - ya'll I did my very best. It was SO much harder than I anticipated to take quality photos in Disney world. I didn't take into account the humid heat, the exhausted un-cooperative kiddos, or the massive crowds of people everywhere. Day 1 - we hit up the Magic Kingdom full of energy and excitement! He still loves me here (just kidding)!
